Apparently, a new Halo franchise project is underway, according to a 343 Industries job list.
A job list on the Microsoft careers page requires a senior producer to "help develop a new project in the Halo Universe". As seen on Twitter by Klobrille; the listing was published on June 3 and seems to suggest that this new Halo project could already be underway.
As one of the most anticipated games for the next Microsoft console; Halo Infinite will be a great launch title for the Xbox Series X, which is yet to launch Holiday 2020. At this point, it is difficult to say what this new project could be or whether it is in any way connected to Halo Infinite. The fact that he lists the "new" may point to a completely separate game in the Halo universe; with the potential to be a spin-off of some kind.
Halo Infinite has multiplayer modes and, although many rumors have circulated in the past, we don't know much about what these modes will offer.
The job list is unlikely to refer to Infinite's multiplayer, but we can expect something from a New Halo
But it will still be interesting to see how it shapes when the game comes out.
Expected to launch on Xbox One; the Halo Infinite will arrive on the Xbox Game Pass when it launches this year and will also be compatible with the next generation console's Smart Delivery technology. This feature means that if you purchase a copy of the game on Xbox Series X, you can also play it on Xbox One and vice versa. Smart Delivery also adjusts the game to the console you are running on, so you can get the best experience.
Although we are not sure, at this stage, what this project is about, it is exciting to see that something is underway.
