Aloy on Genshin Impact
“Everything I do is at the service of life, not death. That's why I'm here with you.”
An outcast from birth, Aloy grew up on a wild mountain near the tribe who avoided her. Promoted by an experienced hunter, she trained to hunt with feline grace and deadly precision but the things she wanted to learn, he couldn't teach her. Most of all, she wanted to know about her birth: who her parents were and why she was rejected by the tribe.
Her search for answers took her into a wider and more dangerous world than she could ever have imagined. She encountered strange and powerful new tribes, ancient ruins filled with mysteries, and dangerous enemies, both human and mechanical. Eventually, she realized that her origins and destiny were deeply linked to the fate of the world itself, and waged an epic battle to save it from the evil forces of an artificial intelligence from the ancient past.
She thought this would be the end of her journey. But there's always more to an adventurer's tale. Now she has come to Teyvat in search of new challenges.
"I'm Aloy, I'm ready for the hunt."
“I don't know much about myself. The mission is what matters.”
An agile hunter from the Nora tribe. Bow in hand, she is always ready to protect the innocent.
In addition to Aloy, the character will receive an exclusive bow called “Predator”, which will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 and 5 users. Its bonus, called Mighty Attack, will only be effective if the player is logged into PlayStation Network.
Genshin Impact isn't the first time Aloy has participated in a game outside his world. The character has also been present in a partnership with Capcom, a skin of her being made available to Monster Hunter World players on PlayStation 4. The event started on February 26, 2018 and ended after about a week.
Its look is treated as unique armor that cannot be mixed with other pieces and changes the complete look of the player's avatar to that of Aloy, even if it is a male character. Applying this look gives the player a set of skills that reflect Aloy's gameplay in Zero Dawn, while also altering the avatar's voice to match hers.
However, this render of Aloy's appearance lacks Focus and is equipped with a Wrist-mounted Tripcaster in his left hand, which is adapted from Monster Hunter: World for its own version of a Slingshot Aloy's Skin and Armor Gamma also became available during a third collaboration event in November 2018.
In addition, she was also present in Fortine. It received an alternative game mode known as Team Up! Aloy and Lara, where the only weapons available are double pistols and bows. Aloy also appears in Death Stranding as a hologram.
