About BlackShark V2
The TriForce Titanium speaker, a new 50 mm driver developed and patented by Razer, features titanium-coated diaphragms in an exclusive design. Being able to separate the audio frequencies for individual adjustment of bass, mid and treble, providing a unique experience to users. With several customization options and THX Spatial audio technology, an advanced solution that provides maximum precision of sound reproduction in 5.1 and 7.1 stereo sources, the result is a 360 degree sound field, adapted to each player's ears.
THX Spatial makes finding enemies much easier within games and allows the player to escape from adversary threats with the true competitive advantage already known from Razer products.
To ensure good communication in the heat of battle, the headset is equipped with Razer's new HyperClear Cardioid microphone and USB sound card. Having a more targeted voice capture area, eliminating noise coming from behind and from the user's sides giving clarity to the conversation.
The additional USB sound card offers advanced controls for more personalized settings, such as Mic Boost, Voice Gate, Volume Normalization, Microphone Equalizer and Ambient Noise Reduction, among others.
Comfort with quality
The advanced passive noise-canceling features of the BlackShark V2 come from the closed design of the oval headphones, which are encased in a high-quality soft foam pad and velvety synthetic leather lining, providing a consistent seal of sound.
For maximum comfort, the ear pads also minimize heat buildup and perspiration, even if used for a long time. In addition, the headband is padded and has a lightweight stainless steel structure, flexible design and extremely durable.
The new THX game profiles make gaming experiences even more immersive. Certified by the game developers, they allow players to enjoy the sounds of their favorite titles the way they really should, with great realism and involvement. Profiles can be used in two modes: THX Environmental, for a more true-to-life sound, eTHX Competitive, with an emphasis on spatial awareness and game events, ideal for locating enemies.
Eighteen of the main competitive and multiplayer games already support the new THX profiles, such as Apex Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Valorant and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, among others, and more titles will enter this list in the coming months.
With a 3,5 mm connector, the Razer BlackShark V2 is compatible with any device with this input, such as PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and numerous mobile devices. The additional USB sound card is only compatible with PCs with Windows 10 operating system.
Team Razer, the eSports division of Razer, works with the best professional players in the world to develop high-performance peripherals that raise the standards of equipment available on the market and place disputes at the highest level. Since the beginning of the development of BlackShark V2, Team Razer has engaged several athletes from the world of eSports to test the headset and give their feedback, used to further improve the design and features of the new peripheral.
