DayZ: Enjoy the free weekend!

Bohemia Interactive has just announced the next DayZ Free Weekend, starting on Thursday, May 21 (10am PST) and ending on Monday, May 25 (10am PST). Anyway, to play DayZ for free, go to the DayZ store page on Steam and install the game.

There's more to the DayZ free weekend - there will be up to 40% off for those who dare to stay a little longer on the relentless lands of DayZ to face the challenge and fight infestation to survive. Then, over the weekend, players can purchase the base game at 40% off Steam, plus 20% off their Livonia DLC.

On Sony's Playstation 4, the same discount rates apply to the game and its DLC through the extended sale of the game that ends on May 27. There are also offers for Xbox owners! Starting on May 19, Gold members can purchase the DayZ base game under “Deals with Gold” with a 40% discount. The Xbox sale ends on May 25.

DayZ became one of the most played games on Xbox after its first week on Game Pass. The game reported hundreds of thousands of new players arriving to explore the post-Soviet country of Chernarus with friends; saving resources and doing what is necessary to survive the infected and other dangers that this land has.
