This year, the Diablo Immortal team did an in-depth Alpha Closed test where our wonderful community provided extremely valuable feedback on all features and systems. Since then, the team has worked hard to implement this feedback and add exciting updates to the game. We are happy to announce that our next testing phase, Diablo Immortal's Closed Beta, has started on the 28th!
As with previous Diablo Immortal public tests, the Closed Beta will only be available for Android and in select regions where a limited number of players will be able to participate. Lucky adventurers invited to the Beta will soon receive a notification from Google Play with details on how to connect and start playing.
What's released in Diablo Immortal's Closed Beta
Starting at 21:XNUMX pm EDT today, Closed Beta servers will be open in Canada, where local players will be able to test Diablo Immortal for the first time, and in Australia. In the coming weeks, we will also be opening servers in Korea, Japan and China, where the test build of the game will be available in local languages.
Diablo Immortal's Closed Beta brings many updates and new content, including:
- A new playable class: the necromancer. Reanimate corpses to create an army of the dead while unleashing curses and plague on Sanctuary's enemies.
- PvP and PvP Updates. The popular faction-based PvP and PvA system, the Conflict Cycle, now features a 30v1 battle called Challenge of the Immortal. Competitions have been added to the 8×8 Battleground PvP system. A new endgame equipment system, set items, has been included. Players will now be able to challenge the Hellfire invasion bosses with up to eight players. And much more!
- Controls compatibility. Players will be able to preview Diablo Immortal's compatibility with controls.
- Optional in-game purchases. In Closed Beta, we will enable optional in-game purchases to get valuable community feedback and test functionality. All game progress will be erased at the end of Closed Beta, and all purchases will be converted to equivalent in-game credits, available in Diablo Immortal at launch.
As we are testing various endgame features, the Diablo Immortal Closed Beta will be active for several weeks to ensure players have enough time to try them out. The exact end date of the Closed Beta will be announced later.
