Warzone: The Halloween event “The Hauting” will have a Brazilian weapon as a reward

Halloween Warzone Event: Tomorrow, the 19th, the halloween event “The Hauting” will start at Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War and will have the new LAPA SMG submachine gun as a reward until November 2nd. And, to make it an even more interesting reward, this new weapon is inspired by a Brazilian weapon that was discontinued.

Just like it was last year, at the event “The Hauting of Verdansk” during the era of Modern Warfare 2019, we will have the return of the event that was considered the best Warzone has ever had, which features zombies, boxes with “jumpscare”, and a night version of Verdansk, the main battle royale map that will be replaced in November, by the Pacific, new Warzone map.

According to some leakers, it was found in the game files that the LAPA SMG submachine gun will even be the weapon that will be given to players who complete the event's challenges, as well as cosmetics and skins for characters or weapons. Still on the leaks, this time we will have ghosts instead of zombies in this event. But so far, Activision, Treyarch and Raven Software have not commented on this information and we will only know if it is real or not when the event starts tomorrow.

Among the news already confirmed, we will have the new operator Ghostface, main character of the Scream movies (Scream, in other countries), also the character Frank The Rabbit, of the movie Donnie Darko. In addition to other skins that are not released in advance, only at the time of the event. Apparently, Ghostface arrives tomorrow at the official store of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. Donnie Darko should only arrive in the second week of the event.

Warzone was released for free as part of the 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game on March 10, 2020, following a series of glitches and leaks the previous month. The game's existence was leaked a month earlier by a post on Reddit, and a software glitch in the same month briefly allowed players to view an earlier version of the battle map. On March 8, 2020, two days before release, YouTube streamer Chaos posted an 11-minute video claiming to feature Warzone gameplay. The video was removed and, on March 9, Activision officially announced that the game would be released on March 10th. Via: Wikipedia
