The Babylon's Fall game was a new project announced by Platinum games, the same developer of Nier: Automata, in 2018, with the expectation of being released in 2019. And then, 547 days after it was announced, the game magically reappeared, so that remember its existence. The developers said that soon this summer (that is, sometime towards the end of 2020), there would be more information about the game.

And then, 216 days later, we come to today, where the development team again rose from the ashes to say that yes, the game is still in development.
Platinum Games' statement regarding Babylon's Fall
"While we expected to reveal more about the game this summer, we can share that Babylon's autumn development continues to progress well, with the team working safely at home," said Platinum Games. "Square Enix and Platinum Games are committed to providing an exciting experience and we look forward to showing you much more about Babylon's Fall as soon as possible."
Although it was 2 years since the game was announced, we know almost nothing about Babylon's fall. A teaser was shown at the event State Of Play Sony in December 2019; showing some environments and some combat very similar to Dark Souls; however, nothing else has been revealed yet. Platinum Games has a page dedicated to Babylon's Fall; but it contains nothing but your 2018 announcement and the Sony event trailer. The game is confirmed to be released on Steam, but we still have no idea when.
