Red Canids: CS: GO team secures slot at WESG

The team of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) da RED Canids Kalunga guaranteed a spot for the Brazilian stage of the World Electronic Sport Game (WESG); WESG is one of the biggest tournaments in eSports of the world, which will take place between 14 and 16 February in Rio de Janeiro. However, to win a place in the competition was not easy, RED Canids Kalunga competed with seven other teams for the closed qualifier of the tournament; Winning W7M Gaming 2-1 in the semifinals and Team One, also 2-1, in Sunday's final (12).

Therefore, RED Canids Kalunga will dispute WESG Brazil with three other Brazilian teams (INTZ, paiN Gaming and Sharks), and the winner will qualify for the Latin American stage (WESG Latin America), which gives the top three a place at WESG, a world tournament to be held in China in March, with a total prize pool of US $ 1 million.
