In a live stream today on YouTube, Electronic Arts has announced that The Sims 4's next expansion will be the Eco Lifestyle expansion pack, which will launch on June 5. The expansion will have a number of green items, a new world called Evergreen Harbor, and new options that will allow your sims to reduce their carbon footprint.
What will the next expansion of The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle be about?
So, Eco Lifestyle will be the ninth expansion of the Sims 4 in the series and will encourage your Sims to be kinder to the planet. You will be able to update your home with furniture made in a sustainable way and the option to transform other people's trash into new and improved items.
Much of the expansion is recovering and reusing old garbage. Anyway, you can go around the neighborhood collecting materials and diving in the garbage to obtain resources such as dyes; strange extremes and pieces of trash, and the new career of Freelance Crafter allows you to make a living by reusing these items. In the trailer above, you can see a Sim making candles as part of his career.
There will also be an option to allow neighbors to vote in a new community space through a Neighborhood Action Plan. You can transform any vacant lot into a shared garden, performance art space or accessory market.
Anyway, there was speculation about the launch that a country expansion package could be launched; but EA accidentally leaked its own web page earlier this week, confirming the environmentally-focused expansion.
