Volcanoids - Cooperative Mode is here

All hands on deck! Submerge, submerge, submerge! Volcanoid, the team behind the steampunk survival game, Volcanoids, released a new update today; allowing players to team up in teams of 2 to 4 as they search, build and upgrade their mobile drilling vessel base. Today's release is the latest in a series of updates that have improved the game; since launching on Steam Early Access in January 2019.

Celebrating the launch of Cooperative Mode, Volcanoids is currently at a 25% discount from now until May 27, 2020.

Volcanoids puts players on an expedition to an abandoned island plagued by mysterious volcanic eruptions, but unleashed by mechanical beings.

Volcanoids make you go to resources in different ways

To survive the island's natural elements; players must command and update a drill ship to dive under eruptions that render the surface uninhabitable for periods of time. When exploring the island, players can discover new ship improvement and equipment projects; resources to refine and build and rare technologies that will turn the battle against mechanical monstrosities. Discover the mystery behind the eruptions and recover the island as your home.

The new cooperative update allows two to four players to get together and assemble their own drill ship. Crew members can choose their drilling stations, search, build and fend robots as challenges are launched. The new mountable bunks allow players to let their avatars rest between sessions and then return to the fray, no matter where the drill ship moves.
