What to expect from Inside Xbox 2020

“For the Xbox 20/20 May update, we’ll focus on taking a first look at the next generation gameplay; trailers and sneak peeks from a wide variety of partners worldwide and in the industry, including Ubisoft's recently announced Assassin's Creed Valhalla; and hear from game creators about what they're doing with their games on the Xbox Series X. ”said the company.

However, the July update will focus on revealing third-party games. Many development teams are working to get their games ready in time for the Xbox Series X; but some releases may be affected by COVID-19. So Microsoft said that with the Xbox Series X everything is going as planned; but that in relation to the production of the games they cannot guarantee anything.

"Game production is a large-scale entertainment activity now, you have hundreds of people coming together, building assets, working with creative pieces," said Spencer; adding that Microsoft doesn't “push when things just aren't ready”.

These new events are a consequence of the cancellation of major events like E3 and Gamescon; due to Coronavirus.
