As the months go by, after a troubled 2020 year, the entertainment industry begins to normalize its release schedule. We already have new movies coming to movie theaters and streaming platforms with some regularity, sports competitions are returning to our daily lives (although there is still a debate as to whether or not this is recommended) and new games are starting to fill the virtual and real shelves of Shops.

So, for you to prepare your game list and your wallet, see what's next for the month of August both on consoles, PC and mobile. Choose your favorite and get ready for hours of adventure and action while you wait for your first (or second) dose of vaccine and take the opportunity to leave in the comments which release you are most looking forward to.

In Sound Mind

Lemmis Gate

Lemnis Gate is a time-altered turn-based combat strategic shooter. You have 25 seconds to execute your action, whether it's blowing up an enemy, moving your agent or preparing your next move. You'll have to master the unique skills of a diverse cast of space agents and be more skillful, intelligent and cunning than your opponent in four-dimensional battles that will challenge your mind.

The Falconeer: Warrior Edition

5 August – PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch

Take on the role of Falconeer, a mighty warrior on his flying mount who traverses a vast oceanic world torn apart by generations of treacherous and dissenting decisions. Over the course of several campaigns, you'll experience life from many different perspectives and loyalties as you embark on a journey of discovery and solve the mystery of the Ursee, its people and its history.

Ever Forward

5 August – PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch

Ever Forward is a puzzle adventure game. Follow Maya's story. She is lost in a strange world somewhere between reality and imagination. She is alone to face her despair on her journey of discovery, where she must unlock her memories and face her fears to unlock the secrets of the world.

Players will need to use their observational skills and intelligence to solve various puzzles to piece together the mystery of Maya's past and what dark secrets she has buried.


10 August - Playstation 4

Launched last year for the PlayStation 5 as a showcase for the console's capabilities, the game will finally receive its PlayStation 4 version. Aperion is on the brink of doom. You are the last of the Valorian knights, an order of divine masters who are able to wear the Valorplates, legendary armor that transforms its wearers into unbeatable masters of melee combat.

Defeat enemies as you advance through elemental realms and challenge the mad god, Macros, who awaits you at the end. Ascend in Godfall, the first looter-slasher action RPG with a focus on melee combat.

Shadowverse: Champion's Battle

10 August – Nintendo Switch

Join Shadowverse anime characters in this exciting card battle game. With spectacular new summoning animations and unique cards, take on your rivals in story mode or go online to challenge your friends!

The legendary card battle game for mobile devices and PC is now available on Nintendo Nintendo Switch with the same basic rules. Shadowverse: Champion's Battle also features battle animations exclusive to the console version! Take on players from around the world in ranked matches and earn points for the rewards offered by the game's Battle Pass, or team up with a friend with your own copy of the game for battles in local competitive mode.

12 August – PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch

You follow the story of Evan Kapnos, who had his identity usurped recently, with no idea who is responsible for it. Stripped of his job, his brain implants and access to his town's Blockchain that normal people have, Evans has to flee town and figure out what happened to him before it's too late.

Players will be able to approach scenarios in different ways due to the extensive skill tree that you unlock throughout the game and the different skills that can be combined with the various weapon mods available.


12 August – PC, Xbox, Nintendo Switch

A skateboarding game where you control birds. You are a lonely bird and your Friend has retired your skateboard forever. Their work sucks and lately they're almost never home to play with you. You will solve all this with the power of being a skateboarder bird.

You may be small, but the more you skate, the more friends you'll make. The birds will see your performance and help you find more clues and together you will (in some way) fix the Friend's life! Above all, skateboarding birds will do their best.

Great: Memories of Azur

17 August – PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC

Greak: Memories of Azur is a side-scrolling with hand-drawn animations. Take on the role of three brothers — Greak, Adara and Raydel — and guide them through the lands of Azur. Alternate in control of all three and use each one's unique abilities to evade the Urlag invasion. Greak is the name of the protagonist, the youngest among the three brothers. He is a Courine, which is a magical people who are currently being invaded by the Urlags, an enemy faction.

The war between these two peoples has raged for a long time, forcing the Courines to flee their own lands. What Greak most wants is to find his brother, Raydel, and his sister, Adara, and flee with them from Azur using an Aircraft, which they will need to build piece by piece. During the game, you'll meet each brother in different settings and recruit them to advance you through the game.

17 August – macOS, Google Stadia, PC, Mac OS


The Humankind strategy game, which allows you to rewrite human history as you see fit, has been pushed back from April to August as developer Amplitude Studios seeks to respond to feedback received during a beta test period. The elements the studio is looking to improve are the tools of rhythm, balance and diplomacy. The game that was promised for April was delayed for improvements and refinements.

12 Minutes

19 August – PC, Xbox

A fully interactive, real-time thriller with a click-and-drag interface. Featuring the voices of James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley and Willem Dafoe. What was supposed to be a romantic night out with your wife turns out to be a nightmare when a police detective breaks into your house, accuses your wife of murder and beats you to death...

Suddenly, you're back to the exact moment you opened the front door, trapped in a TWELVE-MINUTE time loop, doomed to relive the same horror over and over again. Unless you can find a way to use future knowledge to alter the outcome and break the loop.

19 August – PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox

Set in 1990s Japan, the game puts you in the perspective of Ai, a student forced to participate in a twisted hide-and-seek game that takes place in the distorted dimension of a school eternally shrouded in eerie twilight. Unfortunately, the young woman is not alone, being accompanied by spirits, ghosts, shadows, scary children and monsters that put her life in danger.

The game will have English language support, although it's not exactly a western version of the game. In Japan the game will also arrive with physical copies for Sony consoles, but around here, only digital versions will be released.

RIMS Racing

19 August – PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch

Races are not only won on the track, you have to go beyond riding and understand the behavior of the bike like a true engineer. Traction, angle, braking, torque, trajectory, speed… all these factors need to be taken into account before going to the shop and changing components to find the ideal configuration.

With a mechanics management system unprecedented in motorcycle simulations, you can disassemble all the parts of your bike, maintain it after each race and even customize it to increase performance. You will know in depth all the details of your motorcycle, right down to the last screw.

Monster Harvest

A strange mix of Pokémon and Stardrew Valley. You will plant, harvest, explore and build your house, your farm and your furniture in a similar way to Stardrew, but with use and a strange slime you will transform your crops into monsters to accompany you on a journey and help in your battles. Sound pretty crazy? But at least you're not enslaving little monsters out there. You planted them! Does it make much of a difference?

Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut

20 August – PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5

The beautiful samurai action game exclusive to Sony consoles will get an even more refined version and all the additional content we've released so far, but also with a new adventure for Jin on the island of Iki.

Madden NFL 22

The newest version of the Madden franchise from Electronic Arts. Madden NFL 22 is where the big matches happen. The game features new Career mode features including player management, improved scenario generator and weekly strategy. Share your avatar's progress and player class, enter 'Face of The Franchise' and 'The Yard' with your career progression.

As a good sports game from EA, you know this game will have several microtransactions. Take the field knowing this.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite

The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki

No More Heroes III

27 August – Nintendo Switch

After an intense period of absence, the “association's number 1”, Travis Touchdown, returns to his hometown of Santa Destroy… just in time for an alien invasion! The person responsible for this intergalactic invasion is none other than Jess-Baptiste VI, a master of crime that his friends call "Prince FU".

To decide the fate of Earth, the FU organizes the “galactic superhero table”, made up of the most deadly assassins in the galaxy, meaning their captive companions while incarcerated in Blackhole Prison. Travis never says no to a good fight, so he'll try hard to climb through the leaderboards to regain his title… and, to top it off, save the planet.

Neighbors back From Hell is a pack containing remastered versions of two humorous puzzle games released in 2003 and 2004 – Neighbors From Hell and Neighbors From Hell 2. We return to assume the role of the masked and taciturn protagonist led by Pedro, who is… a banana. What's more, he's a banana husband and father whose family was kidnapped. It is our responsibility to rescue Pedro's family (and murder anyone who gets in our way).

Rush Rally Origins

August 19rd – Android, IOS

Rush Rally Origins is the fourth version of the popular racing game series dedicated to car rallies. As the title suggests, the production is, in a way, a return to the series' roots. Behind its development are the authors of the previous projects, the experienced studio Brownmonster.

In Rush Rally Origins, as in the first part of the series, we observe the action from an aerial view. During the game, we run 36 routes around the world, which differ in appearance and type of surface; we have to fight for victory on snow, gravel, mud, asphalt and other types of track. Furthermore, the fight takes place at different times of the day and in different weather conditions. As we go along, we've unlocked several updates that allow us to increase the capabilities of each of the four wheels and adjust each vehicle to our preferences.
