More experienced players may be looking for a good Musket Build in New World. For those who know a little bit of history, you are well aware of the importance of the development of gunpowder for the history of warfare in our world. Noble knights in full armor and sharp swords were easily taken down by a person carrying a pistol or musket yards away and in complete safety. To the point that these knights became obsolete and firearms firing technology became the main form of combat in a war.
In New World, the story may not be exactly the same, as warriors are more resistant to your shots and can fight on equal terms with an armed man. But that does not mean that the Musket is a weapon to be underestimated. The Musket is one of 11 weapons available in New World. One of the main characteristics that the player who wants to specialize in using the musket is dexterity and intelligence. It is a powerful weapon that can help you level up quickly in PvP and solo. Musket Build in New World
The musket is a wonderful choice if you want to improve your PvP rating, because of the high dexterity and intelligence required to use them, the musket has a big advantage over other weapons. When combined with light armor, your mobility improves, allowing you to dodge enemy attacks. This gives you good mobility in the field.
Musket strength and weaknesses
The first and most notable strength of the musket is its dexterity. It offers a wide range of attacks for ranged and melee combat, plus it can contain many buffs that increase the amount of damage done per shot, which makes it an excellent weapon for all situations and works equally well for PvE and PvP.
Along with the strengths, there are some weaknesses of the musket. It has certain flaws beyond its abilities that are listed here. The player's survivability doesn't measure up when it comes to musketry. However, it can be improved by investing in Constitution. Mobility and speed are compromised if any heavy armor is equipped. However, it works well with light armor.
When using a musket, look for a secondary weapon that can attack your opponent from a distance. This will allow you to remain at a safe distance from the enemy, increasing your chances of survival as you will have low constitution and will wear light armor.
You have several secondary weapon alternatives, but we prefer the Rapier because it fits into the slot and performs everything you need. It also adds debuffs, making it an absolutely necessary weapon.
Take advantage of these offers and upgrade your PC to play New World at Top Quality
As far as Attributes are concerned, you should max Dexterity and should keep developing it until you reach 300. After dexterity, you should focus on strengthening your constitution as this will help you increase your survivability. The recommendation is:
- Force: 5
- Skill: 195
- Focus: 5
- Constitution: 25
How to Make Musket Ammo
Although powerful, the musket in New World requires bullets or “cartridges” as ammunition to fire. In addition to relying on finding bullets in supply crates, you'll want to learn how to make them as quickly as possible. To make candy, you will need to go to the Workshop in any major city. Open your map by pressing the M key and locate the workshop icon. Bullets require the following materials to be manufactured:
- 4 iron ingot
- 1 bed linen
- 1 gunpowder
how to create gunpowder
The most challenging ingredient among the three requirements is gunpowder. To make gunpowder in New World, you will need the following materials:
- 5 charcoal
- 2 flints
- 1 saltpeter
Charcoal is made from wood cut in foundry. Flint are easily found on the coast and near shallow water. Saltpeter is found inside caves. After creating the gunpowder, you can start creating the cartridges. To make cartridges, you'll need 4 Iron Ingots (or any type of ingot for the level of bullet you're making), 1 Gunpowder and 1 Linen. Iron ingots are made from cast iron ore, which you can find by mining iron veins all over the world. Gunpowder is made in the Workshop, as seen in the previous step, and Linen is made on a loom using fiber.
You can find fiber in the collection of hemp plants, which are found in forests and grasslands. Be sure to save your resources for this very complex recipe from the beginning of the game and always keep an eye out for the most critical resources: saltpeter, hemp and ore knots. Best Musket / Rapiera Skills
The musket in New World has two skill trees. A detail of them is added here.
This tree focuses on attacking and significantly increases the amount of damage you inflict per shot. It is made up of three skills and you will need to focus on this tree if you want to get the most out of the Musket. The first two of these three skills are recommended.
explosive gunpowder– This skill is required if you choose musket build. This skill increases damage from attacks by 20% for nine seconds. Also overloads the musket, allowing it to deal 100% weapon damage.
mighty shot– This skill helps somewhat by overloading the Musket, causing it to inflict massive weapon damage of up to 150%.
With these two in your arsenal, you'll be invincible and able to do significant damage. However, to support them, you must have the following passives: Critical Reload, Headshot and Increased Accuracy. All of this increases damage and provides buffs.
Impact Shot and Sticky Bomb are useful skills from the Trapper tree. Impact Shot deals 120 percent weapon damage when knocking the opponent down. A Sticky Bomb, on the other hand, deals 150% damage to all enemies within 3 yards.
Weakened Defenses, Agitation, Energy Blast and Tactical Reload are the passives that must be added to this skill tree to make the ideal Sniper skill tree combination. They are beneficial for PvE and PvP. You can upgrade the foil as a secondary weapon even further by equipping it with passives like Evasion and Arrow. Tondo is also useful for dealing extra damage.
As a secondary weapon, the rapier is a good choice. It is a good weapon for DPS and offers exceptional adaptability and mobility. It fits well with the Musket because it has similar dexterity and intelligence attributes to the Musket. As a result, they synchronize well. It provides two skill trees.
You must choose Rally from the Grace skill set. As the name implies, this is a retribution, a counterattack. It deflects an attack and stuns the opponent for 1,5 seconds. Fleche can be used as a backup alternative. You can advance 10 meters to hit multiple enemies with it. It is especially useful when crossing rivers.
Tondo is the best Tree of Blood skill to use because it inflicts bleeding on the enemy. It has a range of five meters, so it can attack even from a long distance. It can deal 50 base damage and then produce three bleed stats for 12 seconds. Very good!
