It is the first game of its kind developed by the company, being first announced under the codename Project A in October 2019, at an event celebrating 10 years of League of Legends. It was released on June 2, 2020 for Microsoft Windows.

Two teams of five play against each other, and players take on the role of “agents” with unique abilities. In the main game mode, the attacking team has a bomb, called a Spike, which they need to plant in one location. Eliminating all members of the opposing team also wins a round. The first team to win the best of 24 rounds wins the match. The game also promotes a 128 tick rate server, which ensures smooth gameplay and low ping with a global expansion of datacenters.

Valorant is developed and published by Riot Games, known for their hugely successful League of Legends. Development began in 2014 within its research and development division. Joe Ziegler, the game's director, is credited with creating the initial idea for Valorant by formulating other titles that Riot could develop by talking to designers from other games. David Nottingham is the game's creative director. Valorant was built on Unreal Engine 4.

Fortnite is an excellent choice for shooting games!

Fortnite is an online multiplayer electronic game originally unveiled in 2011, developed by Epic Games and released as different game modes that share the same gameplay and game graphics engine. Game modes include Fortnite: Save the World, a cooperative pay-to-play survival game for up to four players, who must fight carcasses (zombies) and defend objects with fortifications they can build, and Fortnite Battle Royale, a free-to-play game of the battle royale genre, where up to 100 players fight in smaller and smaller spaces to be the last person or team to win.

Both game modes were released in 2017 as early access titles; Save the World is only available for Microsoft Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while Battle Royale has been released for those same platforms, including Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android devices. In 2020, it was added to the new generation of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

While both games were successful for Epic Games, Fortnite Battle Royale became a resounding success, attracting over 125 million players in less than a year and earning hundreds of millions of dollars a month, and has since been a cultural phenomenon.

Currently, Fortnite is distributed in two different game modes, although each mode uses the same engine and has the same graphics, art features and gameplay mechanics.

  • Fortnite: Save the World is designed as a player-versus-environment game, with four players cooperating toward a common goal across multiple missions. The game takes place after a storm of fluids appears across the Earth, causing 98% of the population to disappear and the survivors to be attacked by zombies. Players take on the role of base shelter commanders, collecting resources, saving survivors and defending equipment that helps gather data about the storm or push the storm back. From the missions, players receive a number of in-game items, which include heroic characters, weapon schemes and traps, all of which can be improved through the experience gained to improve their attributes.

  • Fortnite Battle Royale is a battle royale game mode for up to 100 players, playing alone or in groups of two to four friends. Players leave a “battle bus” that crosses the game map without any weapons. When they land, they must look for weapons, items and resources, avoiding being killed while attacking other players. Over the course of a round, the safe area of the map decreases in size due to an incoming storm; players outside that area take damage and can be killed. This forces the remaining players to move into a tighter space and encourages player encounters. The last player or team alive is the winner.

In both modes, players can use a pickaxe to knock down structures on the map to collect basic resources such as wood, brick and metal to build fortifications such as walls, floors and stairs. Such fortification pieces can be edited to add things like windows or doors. The materials used have different durability properties and can be upgraded to stronger variants using more materials of the same type.

Within Save the World, this allows players to build defensive fortifications around an objective or trap-filled tunnels to attract zombies. In Battle Royale, this provides the means to quickly traverse the map, protect yourself from an enemy onslaught, or delay an advancing enemy.

Both game modes are defined as free-to-play titles, although currently Save the World be on early access and require a purchase to play. Both games are monetized through the use of V-Bucks, in-game currency that can also be obtained only through Save the World. V-Bucks in Save the World can be used to buy llamas pinatas to gain a random selection of items. In Battle Royale, V-Bucks can be used to purchase cosmetic items such as character models or the like, or can also be used to purchase the game's “Battle Pass”, a gradual progression of rewards for gaining experience and completing certain objectives during a season in Battle Royale.

Free Fire is a battle royale action-adventure mobile game created by Vietnamese developer 111dots Studio and published by Garena. The game got an open beta in November 2017 and was officially released for Android on iOS on December 4, 2017.

The game consists of up to a total of fifty players who fall by parachute on an island in search of weapons and equipment in order to kill the other players. Players choose their starting position at will, pick up weapons and supplies to extend the life of the battle.

Inspired by PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) - another game of the same genre, Garena Free Fire became an instant success, reaching, by October 2018, the mark of 7,5 million players (reflected by the amount of downloads) only on Android devices, making it one of the most downloaded Android games of 2018, beating big titles (like PUBG Mobile and Clash Royale). Due to its popularity, the game received the award for “Best Game in Popular Vote” by the Google Play Store in 2018, in addition to the creations of professional competitions in certain parts of Brazil and the world.

Garena Free Fire is a battle royale action-adventure video game viewed from a third-person perspective. To start playing it is necessary to create a personal account in the game, in which you have the right to choose whether you want to create your own game account or if you want to connect to an account on some social network, such as Facebook for example. After successfully logging in, the player must configure their profile and explore the game in order to gain knowledge about the game and the methods used to play. Once all this is done, the player can start a game by clicking on the button "Classic Mode" or "Ranked Game" and then wait for the plane to fly over the island.

While the plane is flying over the island, the player can jump wherever he wants, thus allowing him to choose a strategic place to land away from enemies. After landing, the player must then go looking for weapons and utility items. Medical equipment, medium and large weapons, melee weapons, grenades, bullet proof vest, protective helmet, backpack, among other various items presented in the game can be found around the island. The player's ultimate goal is to survive on an island with a maximum of 50 members online and all with the same goal. For this it is necessary to eliminate all the opponents that the player encounters along the way and ensure that he is the last survivor.

Garena Free Fire is one of the most popular battle royale mobile games in the world. Free Fire was the second most downloaded game on the Google Play Store in the fourth quarter of 2018, and was the fourth most downloaded game in the world in 2018 on iOS and the Google Play Store combined.[17] The title achieved approximately 182 million downloads in 2018, becoming the second most downloaded battle royale mobile game (above Fortnite and only behind PUBG Mobile), and grossed approximately $19,3 million in monthly revenue through December 2018 , becoming a significant financial success for Garena.

Halo Infinite is a future first-person shooter electronic game developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios, for Microsoft platforms; will be released for Xbox One, Windows 10 and Xbox Series X|S. The game is scheduled to be released on December 8, 2021 and is the sixth major title in the Halo franchise. Continues the story of Master Chief as the third chapter in the Reclaimer saga, following Halo 5: Guardians.

Gareth Coker, composer of Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, is one of three composers for Halo Infinite, alongside Curtis Schweitzer and Joel Corelitz.

Splitgate is an excellent choice for shooting games!

splitgate (known during development under the title at work Splitgate: Arena Warfare) is a free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter electronic game developed and published by 1047 Games. It was released in Early Access on May 24, 2019 for Linux and Microsoft Windows on Steam and Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on July 27, 2021.

On August 25, 2021, the developers announced that the game would be in beta indefinitely and at the same time release Season Zero. The game revolves around Halo-inspired sci-fi combat in battle arenas where players can create wormhole portals between two points on the map that have been compared to the Portal series and fire weapons or travel through those portals.

-- Advertising --

The console release for the game is considered a "re-release" as the gameplay and style have been completely revamped.

The game was developed by 1047 Games, based in Nevada. Its co-founders, Ian Proulx and Nicholas Bagamian, began working on the game as a school project while studying computer science at Stanford University. Proulx was inspired by Portal and Portal 2, and believes its mechanics can translate well into other video game genres. They worked on the game without funding for six months, and then released a user-testing demo, which became unexpectedly popular when the game attracted 600.000 downloads in its first month of release. The game's design philosophy has been described as similar to that of Fortnite and Rocket League, in that the game is “easy to learn” but “hard to master”.

The game was released as a free-to-play title on Steam on May 24, 2019. 1047 Games continued to work post-release the game and raised a total of $10 million for the project in May 2021 from investors. In June 2021, the company announced that the game would come to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S with support for cross-platform gameplay.

While Splitgate struggled to maintain a viable player base after its initial early access release in 2019, the game saw a significant increase in players when the game's beta launched in early July 2021, driving it to surpass 600.000 downloads on the first week. Its sudden popularity was totally unexpected by the developers and caused the game to go offline several times to fix server issues.

This led to the postponement of its early access exit as developers tried to increase the server's capacity to handle more than 100.000 concurrent players. Despite attempts to increase server capacity, a queuing system was implemented to limit the number of players connecting to the game. The developers posted server status updates to their Twitter account until the system was removed in August 2021.
