CHow will I know my request was received?

When you submit your request, you will see a confirmation screen on the page and you will receive an automatic email confirming your submission. Please do not reply to this email until you have received an official reply. Responding to the email before you have a response takes your request to the end of the queue.

How long will it take for my request to be processed?

As each request is analyzed carefully, you can expect anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks to receive a response. Those who have completed The Route to Partner achievement can expect a response within 7 business days.

Can I apply for Partnership without completing the The Route to Partner achievement?

Your request may be considered based on other factors such as having a significant number of followers on other services and/or platforms. If you have a broad audience established on other services, such as YouTube or Twitter, and would like to be considered for its live streaming potential, apply here. Please note that having a large following on other services does not guarantee your Partnership.

Is it possible to get quality/transcoding options without partnering with Twitch?

Yes. Non-partnered channels can be given quality/transcoding options if capacity is available. Among non-partner channels, Affiliate channels have higher priority than non-Affiliates.

How to send a Cheer

To send Cheers, type “cheer” in the chat followed by the number of Bits you want to use. More Bits show more support and activate cooler animated emotes. You earn more Bit badges the more you send Cheer. You can also earn Best Cheers badges on channels where they are active.

Cheering (with Bits) for Affiliates

Affiliates can use Bits to start earning income from their channels. They will receive 1 cent per Bit used to send Cheer on their channel, just like Partners, and will have access to all Cheering settings and features, with the exception of the Partner's custom Cheermotes. Affiliates will be able to track the income earned from the Bits in the Income tab of the Control Panel.

How does sending Cheers support streamers?

Sending Cheers makes Twitch chat more attractive for everyone. This shows streamers who their most enthusiastic fans are and makes it easier to thank them with overlays and shoutouts.
In addition, Twitch provides participating streamers with a portion of the revenue it receives from the Bits used to send Cheers to them. The default portion for Partners and Affiliates is one percent per Bit used to send Cheers to them. In some special cases, such as sports tournaments or charity events, the income split may be different.
