Getting rich in Night City can be a real drag if you don't know how to capitalize on urban dystopia early. Read These Tips To Make Money In Cyberpunk 2077 Fast And Easy
Cyberpunk 2077 is a game released recently and it went from heaven to hell with players, as well as its producer, CD Projekt Red, which went from being the “great heroine of the gaming world, showing the capitalist and exploitative industry of the games to how to make a game” of quality, the great villain and “just another company that wants the players' money”.
The game was announced and caused a big commotion for its innovative proposal and for being a beloved new ip CD Projekt, but the constant delays made players lose patience with the company which made it take the unfortunate decision to release the game. before it was ready, with several bugs known by the developers, which caused a huge headache for the developer that lasts until today.
The good news was that, after several patch patches and many delays, the game returned to Sony store, the PS Store, and can now be played by PlayStation fans with peace of mind (as long as it's on a PS4 Pro or PlayStation 5, according to Sony). So, if you're going to embark on V's adventures through Night City, know that you're going to need a lot of cash. So, let's give you some tips on how to make money in Cyberpunk 2077.
How to make money in Cyberpunk 2077 inside (and outside) the law
Need to know how to make money in Cyberpunk 2077? With some of the best gear and skills sold only in the most expensive stores, you'll need to know how to make a decent living on the streets of Night City as soon as you start the game. If you want to have the best cyberware and quickhacks, or simply want to be a flash punk, money is vital.
You may even find that your progress on some missions will be hampered by your thin wallet – as there are some missions that require you to pay some dubious criminal or invest in some underhanded scheme to get ahead. Therefore, you will want to accumulate as much money as possible to move forward. See how.
The simplest way to earn money in Cyberpunk 2077 is simply to play it right: the main and side missions offer the most lucrative rewards and each one will reward you with a decent amount of money for each completed task. If you're still stuck at some point in the story or just want to get some upgrades and decent weapons before moving on with the main quest story, there are some fixers located in each part of the map that will give you smaller quests with less rewards as well.
Completing jobs offered by fixers also increases your Street Cred, which in turn generates more jobs. It's a rewarding cycle of work and cash flow that enhances the gaming experience and rewards you with significant values for those just starting out. If you're at a loss for what to do in these jobs, there's a section dedicated to them in your quest journal, where you can see which ones have been completed and how well they pay. Hope you enjoy searching quests!
sell your useless items
When starting the game for the first time, you'll want to grab almost everything you can find. If it's not bolted to the ground, steal it! Using quickhacks to steal money directly from NPCs can make them upset and hostile (fair, actually) so it's better to steal loot scattered around Night City as it doesn't belong to anyone in particular. Better yet, some junk items can sell for up to $750!
Most scraps and consumables won't overload you with additional weight, so you pretty much have carte blanche to steal everything you see around the place and earn cash in Cyberpunk 2077. Sell your inventory items when you're talking to a salesperson and you will win big! Be aware that one of the perks you can purchase will automatically disassemble your useless items; don't use it, because with that you're throwing money down the drain.
Instead of just selling your junk, you can turn it into something useful. Cyberpunk 2077's crafting system is quite simple to understand, which makes it an incredibly powerful tool if you're interested in getting EXP and money by crafting weapons and mods that will sell well. Even if you're not as invested in leveling up your crafting system for your own gear, it still has the potential to help you get some.
So, how to invest in creation? Go to your build page and you'll see several different layouts. Focus on green schemes, be it weapons, clothing or anything else – just focus on quality and rarity. Once you see an item that will give you some profit – click on the item and it should show the monetary value in the lower right corner – then create it.
You'll not only get around the 160-270 range to craft unusual/rare weapons, which can be profitable if you craft a handful of weapons and/or quickhacks, but you'll also gain crafting experience that will help you level up quickly. The best of both worlds! Once manufactured, sell the item(s) to the local seller and repeat until you have plenty of money to spend.
But remember, if you decide to go the creative way to make money in Cyberpunk 2077, it can be very time consuming if you haven't collected enough components or junk to disassemble. It's worth the money, of course, but picking up the materials first isn't going to be a walk in the park either.
Join the NCPD
Is there anything more punk than joining the police? Do not need to answer. Yes, the game is to live out your rebellious fantasies and go anarchizing everything without consequences, but sometimes you can think of that saying: “My enemy's enemy is my friend” and, with that in mind, get some money. If you complete the NCPD Reported Crimes around the map, you'll soon start to see your pockets bulge.
These missions and crime-stop interventions are useful for a couple of reasons: you'll get paid well for these quick jobs (which also earn you XP) and you'll often find some decent items and junk that will pay off a fair price after the mission. Be sure to follow the various parts of the NCPD Reported Crimes to their actual conclusions in order to get the most profit for your time invested.
Know your passive advantages
To earn money in Cyberpunk 2077 from the beginning of the game, make sure you use quickhacks whenever you can and put a good dose of points into your intelligence attribute. Once you've reached Intelligence level 5, you can unlock the Advanced Datamine advantage in Breach Protocol. This will allow you to increase the amount of money you receive from Access Points (which, as you may have noticed, are everywhere in Night City). Level 1 increases your gains by 50% and 2nd level increases what you can steal by 100%.
Couple this with the Extended Network Interface and you'll be able to find hotspots at a greater distance and boost your bank account with quickhacks as you roam around the city. If you're finding this method of working very profitable, don't neglect your Intelligence - the hotspots, later in the game, will need a higher intelligence for you to enter them.
Enjoy one or another glitch
The face paint glitch to make money in Cyberpunk 2077 uses an item obtained from the Space Oddity side quest, which you will automatically receive after completing the Playing For Time main story quest.
In the Space Oddity mission, you'll travel to Rancho Coronado, in Santo Domingo, to get a folder of a group of people you think best. Find the suitcase owner's corpse near a Dumpster to get a code that will unlock the “launch.exe” program that provides the coordinates for a delivery point. Eliminate the six enemies on your way to the delivery point and get a face paint as a reward from the drop pod.
The painting “Untitled 18 – Brancesi 2021” is the key to the glitcg of money. Take it to any access box to sell it for $4.000. After exiting the access box and entering again, you can buy back the painting for a measly $5. Repeat the process until the access box runs out of money for you, then go after another access box and continue until your e-wallet is full.
