Roller Champions will be released on May 25 along with its first season

Players can now put on their skates and get ready to have fun for free

Ubisoft has just announced that Roller Champions will be released on May 25th. The new free-to-play PvP sports game (player versus player) in teams will have cross-play for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 (backward compatible) and PC, via the Ubisoft Store. In addition, the game will be made available for Nintendo Switch at a date to be announced soon.

In Roller Champions, the disputes take place between two teams of three skaters each and to win it is necessary to score five points by throwing the ball into the goals. However, the number of points can increase as the team completes laps around the oval arena while retaining possession of the ball. In this fast-paced match, players must accelerate along the walls of the track, perform tricks and work as a team to defeat opponents and advance towards glory.

By winning the disputes and reaching the top of the leaderboards, several doors of important leagues and stadiums will open until the players reach the Elite Champions League. During this journey, gamers will have the opportunity to win fans, discover new maps, compete in game modes available for a limited time, and customize their gear. In addition to unlockable items, exclusive cosmetic rewards can be purchased with each season pass.

Roller Champions can be played alone with opponents of similar skill (via the cross-play matchmaking system) or with friends. The game also has a cross-progression system available for all platforms where gamers have the option to progress their career using any device. Finally, players can take the opportunity to meet their friends, have fun with minigames and train at the Skatepark, an area that works precisely as a social hub to bring the community together.
