Updating the PUBG MOBILE version 1.7 comes with the game's most innovative partnership to date, featuring all-new gameplay in collaboration with the new League of Legends animated series: Arcane.
With new playable characters, mysterious story, unique gameplay, weapons and abilities, players will travel between Eragel, Piltover and Zaun as some of the most recognizable champions in the series. The version 1.7 update also brings new gameplay features, downed player transport system, new outfits, Cyber Week sales and much more.
With one of the most ambitious partnerships ever introduced in the PUBG MOBILE, the version 1.7 update brings extensive elements of the world of Arcane, featuring locations, characters and gameplay from the universe. By selecting “themed mode” when playing a classic game in Eragel, players will encounter the huge and mysterious Isle of Mirror. Early in the game, the Isle of Mirror can be explored by players in search of supplies. However, as the game continues, the Isle of Mirror will activate and become extremely unstable. Players who come into contact with the Wind Wall will be transported to Piltover or Zaun, two iconic League of Legends cities.
Arcane arrives at PUBG and brings Jynx and Vi's fight to a new level
Players who land on the Isle of Mirror will also be able to transform into Jinx, Vi, Jayce or Caitlyn champions, and use unique weapons and abilities to fight other players. Defeated players return to Erange in its original form. The Mirror Island arrived in Eragel this Tuesday (16).
In addition to fighting and exploring these new areas, players can interact with these champions to discover clues about what's happening in the world of Arcane and help these champions return to their own world before it's too late. Unfortunately, Enforcers, Firelights and Berserkers also entered the world of PUBG MOBILE, and players need to stop them from causing trouble.
Using Hex Shards and other supplies, players can complete the story and return Jinx, Vi, Jayce and Caitlyn back to Runeterra. Hex Shards can also be used to purchase battle supplies, such as the new Stimulant Pack, which gives players the ability to regain health by defeating enemies, and the Landing Pack, which gives players the ability to glide.
From November 23rd to January 3rd, players can also rack up Exploration Progress by playing matches in Mirror World or Classic Mode and earn Arcane-exclusive items and emotes, with some recreated from past Arcane champions.
Upgrading from version 1.7 of PUBG MOBILE it also brings new ways to play together. Knocked down players, both teammates and enemies, can now be carried over instead of just reanimating or eliminating them. While carrying another player, movement speed is reduced and no other actions are available, including combat, picking up supplies, entering vehicles, or using consumables. Passive damage to the player being charged also occurs at a slower rate, meaning it will take longer to clear.
The 1.7 update also adds a number of security and gameplay improvements. New difficulty modes will also be available to provide an extra challenge, and players can now join a game before pairing them with their teammates. More details can be found in the official patch notes.
