Amos talked to GamerGen, and stated that Warzone would be receiving new modes; saying that Raven software is “constantly working on modes”. Infinity Ward narrative director Taylor Kurosaki also gave some insight into the Call of Duty: Warzone team approach. He had been asked if he would have space on Warzone for "Fortnite-type events"; Kurosaki said he didn't, but then explained, also comparing the game's evolution with that of other Battle Royale-style games:

“I wouldn't say it's Fortnite-type events; With Fortnite, you know that the world is always evolving and changing so much that you don't want to get away from it or you might miss something. It's the same with Call of Duty: Warzone. ”
