The hook-thrower, the glider and the possibility to explore underwater are other new additions that are among the highlights shown in the gameplay trailer with the new abilities in Horizon Forbidden West. David McMullen, Head of Systems Design at Guerrilla explains each of these functions and how they interfere with the player's way of pioneering the Forbidden West.
PlayStation today released more information about the long-awaited Horizon Forbidden West. David tells how the development team intends to excite players with various tools included in the gameplay. He tells how familiar aspects of the game have also been improved, such as climbing.
In addition, new forms of combat, such as the Boost of Bravery and the Resonator Explosion, give a different dynamic to melee combat. Battles against enemies, humans and machines, got even more challenging. This is because they are no longer separate aspects, because some tribes in Forbidden West are also able to control the machines.
