Capcom announces news about Monster Hunter Rise and the DLC Sunbreak, a monstrous expansion packed with new content and will offer an all-new story with new monsters, as well as new locations to explore, gameplay elements, mission rankings and more. The robust expansion will arrive simultaneously on Nintendo Switch and PC in the third quarter of 2022.
As shown in the trailer, a dark backdrop is the stage for the emergence of a fearsome monster. More details about this new threat and the exciting gameplay of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be revealed soon.
Monster Hunter Rise, the latest release in the action-RPG series, transports players to Kamura Village, a peaceful and exotic setting that attracts visitors with its quirky culture and innovative hunting technologies. The core gameplay experience of Monster Hunter Rise remains true to that of previous games in the Monster Hunter series, allowing hunters to equip armor and choose from 14 different types of weapons.
As players defeat monsters and progress through the game, items obtained from defeated enemies can be used to create weapons and armor that will increase their chances of success and survival in the future. Hunters can tackle these challenges alone or in groups of up to four hunters in local or online co-op matches.
Monster Hunter Rise and DLC Sunbreak arrive on Switch and PC
Monster Hunter Rise evolves the series by introducing several exciting mechanics for hunters to master. For the first time in a Monster Hunter game, it is possible to perform cable-driven actions with the aid of “Cabinsets” while on the ground or in the air, which adds new air displacement possibilities to incorporate into hunting and combat strategies.
In addition, the game features the "Snake Ride" technique, which allows players to temporarily take control of a monster and produce spectacular battle sequences during a hunt. Monster Hunter Rise also features new hunting partners called Amicas, custom “Canynos” companions that can be used as mounts and offer new attack options. These companions team up with beloved “Felynos” partners, the Amigatos, to help players during the hunt.
Monster Hunter Rise is now available for Nintendo Switch and will come to PC in early 2022. Leave it in the comments if you like the new feature and read more News on our website.
