About Stygian

Featuring strategic, turn-based combat, players will face fanatical cultists, inhuman monstrosities and cosmic horrors, so [written for public safety] that they leave the chatter weak. Game features

A hand-drawn 2D world, reflecting Lovecraft's cosmic horror and dread themes.
Enemies, environments and stories inspired by Lovecraft's iconic original works. Participate in missions inspired by Lovecraft's most beloved stories and watch them unfold according to your own decisions and role-playing style.
Choose from 8 main character archetypes, each with their own backgrounds and specialties.
For example, a series of strange companions to accompany you on your starry journey: the lonely and antediluvian 'Outsider', a fallen soldier from the Great War revived by Herbert West. Recruit these and other strange beings to your team.

Your character's sanity and mental state influence the dialogue options available, offering advantages and obstacles. Sometimes it pays to be angry in a crazed world!
The Stygian Belief System determines how your characters deal with the distorted reality of the new Arkham, as well as the rate at which they regenerate lost Sanity. In addition, belief systems also offer exclusive options for dialogue, expanding the breadth of role-playing possibilities.

A new type of spell system that sometimes takes more than it gives. Being a master of the occult is not as simple as throwing colorful missiles from your fingertips. Stygian's black magic is potent, but it can cost your mind, your health and possibly even more.
Strategic turn-based combat from a 2D perspective, similar to the classic Heroes of Might and Magic games.
The fight in Stygian is not to save the world, as this battle is already lost. Pursue your own goals in these end times: salvation, revenge or perhaps something darker.
